With over 20 years of leadership, coaching, and public and private organizational experience, Christin Webb is a native Memphian who focuses on helping to develop leaders and businesses from the inside out through a strategic, people-centered, results-oriented, and engaging approach.
Christin has a unique ability to engage individuals and organizations to improve interpersonal and intrapersonal needs. Christin has worked with local, state, national, and global for-profits, non-profits, government agencies, professional associations, Fortune 500 companies, individuals, and more. Christin also provides business and procurement consulting services to small business owners and government organizations.
Christin was previously the Chief Procurement Officer for Shelby County Government, where she led approximately $1.1B in the procurement of goods and services. She is the former President of the Tennessee Association of Public Purchasing (TAPP) and NIGP Governing Talent Council member. Christin began her career with Memphis Light Gas and Water Division as the Chief of Records Retention & PBX and transitioned into procurement as a Procurement Specialist and continued to Procurement Specialist Level II. Christin eventually went on to become a Sr. Procurement Specialist and Category Manager with FedEx Services. She is an instructor for the Institute of Public Procurement (NIGP) where she trains government agencies on diverse, professional, industry-driven procurement processes and practices. She is a graduate of the Dale Carnegie Leadership program and Leadership Memphis alumni.
Christin is a certified procurement professional (NIGP-CPP) and professional social worker. She holds a Bachelor of Arts with a focus in Social Work from the University of Memphis and a Master of Business Administration from Webster University. As a community advocate, Christin serves as a Commissioner for the Youth Guidance Commission with the City of Memphis and regularly volunteers with local non-profits.
Christin lends her creativity to the world as an international bestselling author, business writer, and award-winning screenwriter and film producer. Christin's work and service has been recognized for her leadership and community efforts as a recipient of the 40 Under 40 Urban Elite Professional, Stone Awards Ida B Wells Commemoration, Ordinary People's Magazine Servant Leader Award, and Dale Carnegie Leadership Awardee. Christin is the proud mother of a talented daughter whom she enjoys spending time with.
